15th District Court

The 15th District Court is located at 301 E. Huron St. in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in Washtenaw County and has four judges serving. 

• Judge Christopher Easthope has been presiding in the 15th District Court since 2009.
• Judge Joseph F. Burke has been presiding in the 15th District Court since 2012.
• Karen Quinlan Valvo – appointed to the 15th District court bench by Governor Rick Snyder on January 5, 2016 and elected on November 8, 2016 to complete the term. 
• Judge Miriam A. Perry – appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Term began January 1, 2021

The court handles small claims, arraignments, preliminary examinations, and all phases of misdemeanor cases. All Felony cases start in District Court. It handles cases for the City of Ann Arbor.

16th District Court

The 16th District Court is located at 32765 5 Mile in Livonia, Michigan and is in Wayne County. There are two judges in the 16th District Court.  

• Judge Kathleen J. McCann has been presiding in the 16th District Court since 1994.
• Judge Sean P. Kavanagh has been presiding in the 16th District Court since 2008.

17th District Court

18th District Court

19th District Court
